EFIT Webinar 1: Working with and deepening our focus on emotion in EFIT – Friday 11th December | 9am-11am

This webinar is for practitioners who are new to EFIT and any EFT practice as well as experienced EFIT therapists. Sue described EFIT as a structured therapeutic approach that helps people understand, regulate, and transform their emotional experiences and attachment patterns. Emotions are treated as the primary agents of transformation and by deeply experiencing and accepting vulnerability rather than avoiding it, clients can reshape their inner world.

No surprise that in our EFIT work focusing on emotions is a critical component. EFT practitioners can sometimes get lost with just one person in the room, feeling comfortable getting to insight and not knowing how to stay with and help clients elaborate on their emotional experience.

In this webinar we will first situate “emotions” in the context of current understandings broadening the perspective that Eckman offered on emotion. Then, with a focus on video clips from my own work, we will explore what it means to focus on emotion, deepen emotion, and use it as a means to work with your clients to move towards more coherence about their experience.

This is part of an EFIT webinar series exploring different aspects of our EFIT practice with a focus on the “rabbit holes” outlined in the EFIT Primer.
