7.20 – 7.40 pm Break
7.40 – 9.10pm One choice from 3 parallel sessions:
We first saw Giulia’s video presentation at our 2023 conference and many people were disappointed to miss it. Giulia has kindly given us permission to show this innovative presentation again. Receiving love in places you have never got it re-integrates parts of the self and the couple. Discover a pursuer softening experience through the music of Janis Joplin.
In this workshop we will explore and demonstrate when and how to set up different kinds of encounters with individual clients. The encounter is at the very heart of EFT and it is crucial to facilitate engaged encounters with different aspects of self and imagined others in order to deepen and transform the connection with self and others.
Little is said in the literature about unpacking the positive cycle but it is important throughout EFT. Through presentation, client videos, and discussion we will explore the immense value in unpacking positive cycles in late stage 2, particularly with trauma-trauma couples, to celebrate and integrate positive shifts.
9.10 – 9.30 pm Consolidating the conference experience and ending – Sarah McConnell & Sandra Taylor – co-directors & EFT trainers
Stephen Jones (MA, MBA, MDiv) serves as the Managing Director of Ember Community Counselling and as a pastor, with a heart for making high-quality mental health care more accessible. He works primarily with highly escalated cross-cultural couples and is committed to supporting counsellors—helping them find their professional niche, expand their reach, and raise their rates.
Giulia Altera, EFT trainer based in Italy. Giulia won’t be present, a video presentation of her work will be shown.
The session will be supported by a BEFT member– to be confirmed
